I want to thank you for providing high quality pet food for the Fox Valley area!  I started using some of your raw diet products about 3 months ago for my new puppy, Charlie, and my six year old cat, Tilly.  Of course, Charlie gobbled down every last piece of his raw medallions, but I was worried that Tilly would not take to the change in her diet.  First of all, she is a finicky feline, and second, she was on a restricted prescription diet due to the onset of kidney failure.  The food was suppose to keep her creatinine level normal.  After one and a half years on the prescription diet, she still had an elevated level of creatinine.  I was told to stick with the diet and consider adding some addition medications to her daily regime.  Plus, she was quite overweight and relatively sluggish. She had been on food provided by the veterinary office for 2 years when we switched to the Primal raw diet.  Within days, she had more energy, within a few weeks I noticed a significant weight loss.  She became more active and playful, plus her coat became silky smooth.  I couldn't have been more pleased.

Yesterday Tilly and I went to the vet.  They commented how healthy she looked!  With great excitement I told them about the new diet and how well she is doing.  I was met with scowls and skepticism.  I was lectured about the creatinine and how important the prescription diet is for a cat in her condition.  I was urged to have her blood tested for creatinine just to make sure the new raw diet was not wreaking havoc on her kidneys.  I knew deep down that this was the healthiest Tilly had ever been and regardless of the test results, I was going to stick with the raw diet.  After all, even on the prescription diet she had an elevated level of creatinine!

Today I received a call from the vet.  Much to their surprise, but not to mine, her creatinine level was in the normal range!  Imagine that!  I owe it all to the new diet.  If it were not for your care and concern for the nutrition of our beloved pets, Tilly would probably be further into the stages of kidney failure.  I tell all of my fellow animal lovers about Irish Acres and the wonders good nutrition can have on the overall health of our pets.  Thank you for making nutritious, natural foods within reach for our community.
